Going on a Ayurvedic Diet

I was going about my day yesterday when something hit me on the inside and told me to start studying Ayurveda and that by studying an Ayurvedic Diet I would find the answer to my question about diet.

After doing some testing I discovered that I need to be on a Kapha balancing Ayurvedic diet. An imbalance of Kapha is the main reason I am struggling to lose any weight.

Before yesterday I knew absolutely nothing about Ayurveda. I am not planning to dive into studying this more. This along with The Body Code is going to help me immensely this year.

I still don’t know all too much about doing a Kapha balancing diet, but I plan to have enough knowledge about it this weekend to start on Monday March 15th.

I have been struggling with my weight and am currently 161.2 lbs, which is disappointing because I was so excited when I got down into the 150′s. Instead of beating myself up, I had to realize that there was something wrong with the way I was eating.

I plan to really give this Ayurvedic Diet my full commitment though the end of this year to see where it leads me.

Here are the first two books I got on the subject that I plan to read next week -
Prakriti: Your Ayurvedic Constitution
Ayurvedic Cooking for Westerners: Familiar Western Food Prepared with Ayurvedic Principles
