Training for a Half Marathon

I was challenged by my sister-in-law to run a half marathon with her on October 30th. So today I started my training. I must admit, I haven’t really been exercising lately so I started from square one. I went to the gym, Results Gym & Fitness, to be exact. I am doing a 13 week walk/run program and today was the first day of week one.

My Workouts Summary Feb 15 – Feb 21

This week has been a little more off track than usual. I was able to still get a lot of walking in on my treadmill, but I didn’t do much else in the form of workout videos. I am very happy to report that I lost 1.2 lbs this week despite not being on track as far as eating goes.

My Workouts Summary Feb 01 – Feb 07

Yet another week has gone by and now it is time to track my workouts and see what progress i’ve made during the past week. My starting weight on Monday was 164 lbs and my ending weight on Sunday was 162.6 lbs. That means for all my efforts I lost 1.4 lbs during the past 7 days.

Hip Hop Abs – Ab Sculpt workout is my new favorite workout for abs. I love that it is standing work because I have always hated crunches and despised sit ups. This makes workout out my abdominal muscles so much fun. I feel like I could do the workout every single day.
