How to Keep Track of Calories Burned

As you may have noticed from the summary of last week I kept track of how many calories I burned each day. This helps me see how far I pushed myself and helps me set goals of burning more.
You have probably seen it on The Biggest Loser show if you happen to watch it. All the contestants have this black band around their left arm. That is how Bob and Jillian know how much they are working out.
They use something called a BodyBugg, but I got the GoWear Fit which is made by the same company and is better in the fact that it also tracks how much sleep you get. Plus it is less expensive so that is a big plus.
I simply wear it up on my left arm and upload it each day to my computer through usb. It also charges itself when it is plugged into the usb port on your computer so their are never any batteries to replace.
It really helps me stay motivated and makes sure I stay accountable to my daily burn goals. I seem to average around 2300 a day, but would like to bump that up to at least 2500 calories a day in February as I get stronger.
I have read online that the contestants on The Biggest Loser burn about 6,000 to 8,000 calories a day. No wonder they get such big weight loss numbers every week!
If you want to get a GoWear Fit for youself they have them on Amazon for a pretty good price. You also have the option of getting a digital display if you want to see in real time where you are at calorie wise, but I just wait until I upload it to see how I did.
